He lives in Niagara Falls with his wife and four daughters.

My Favorite Activities include

Fishing Lake Erie in the summer, on an early Sunday morning complete with a beautiful sunrise, calm seas, and fisherman only, after having a great breakfast; talent shows around a campfire at Allegany State Park; salmon fishing in the Fall along the many tributaries of Lake Ontario with the smell of the apple orchards in the air; skiing at Holiday Valley on weekdays with a great backpack lunch.

5 Things I love about Buffalo
  1. Summer camping at Allegany State Park: Thunder Rocks; the bear caves; bear sightings; ghost rides and having the campfire to yourself late at night and early in the morning;
  2. All the available inland bodies of water; a choice of two Great Lakes; the vast selection of fish species; and the beautiful drives in any direction;
  3. Four seasons and the activities that go with them: Spring fishing; boating and camping in the summer; the colors of Fall and the taste of the local wine; walking and snow-blowing in a big snowstorm (twisted, I knowÉ). Buffalo weather measures up to its seasons. You have to be from here to understand.
  4. The histories - both American and Canadian - that make up the region.
  5. The pleasant shock on the faces of my clients as we tour the area while I point out the joys of living in Buffalo: the cost of real estate, the cost of living, our version of a traffic jam and the occasional 80-degree heat wave. I cherish the looks!

My favorite local hidden treasures you shouldn't miss

Juneteenth and its international vendors; the Pine Grill Reunion for the old-school jazz and blues while coming to grips with the realization that IÕm a junior old timer; reuniting with all those I went to primary and high school with; trolling for early season walleye late at night on Lake Erie. I love the Taste of Buffalo!!

My perfect day spent in the Buffalo area

Yard sale hopping with my wife on early weekend mornings hoping to find that tackle box full of antique lures, equipment ready to use, or that piece of furniture needing stripping and refinishing.
